DESCRIPTION
Nycodiel is a synthetic hydrocarbon-based fluid, with a viscosity of 5 cSt at 40°C. It is inhibited against
oxidation.
APPLICATIONS
Nycodiel is a new generation coolant for electronic systems, mainly military radar, embarked on aircraft,
ships or ground equipment. It does replace advantageously former coolants based on silicate esters.
Nycodiel is not sensitive to water and does exhibit a stable flash point during use and does not produce gels which clog cooling
systems and filters.
Because of these features, the use of Nycodiel enables to reduce considerably the maintenance costs of radar.
Nycodiel is supplied with a controlled dielectric strength and particle contamination level.

DESCRIPTION
NYCODIEL 1233 is a new concept of dielectric fluid based on a low viscosity neopolyol ester.
It combines many advantages, such as low viscosity, low temperature, high thermal stability, high fire point and
biodegradability.
APPLICATIONS
NYCODIEL 1233 has been designed to combine the benefits of mineral oil in terms of low viscosity to improve cooling
or low temperature operability and the advantages of synthetic esters such as high thermal stability, fire safety and
biodegradability, as measured according to test methods in IEC 63012.
It is a suitable and safe alternative to mineral oils when biodegradability is required.
NYCODIEL 1233 is particularly adapted to transformers operating in very cold areas.
It is also recommended for any electro-technical application where the use of low viscosity insulating fluids is required
to maximize cooling efficiency.
BENEFITS
• Low viscosity at very low temperature
• Excellent oxidation stability according to IEC 61125 method C
• Low calorific value and high fire point, meets IEC 61039 O3
• Biodegradable according to OECD 301B
• Not hazardous to the environment
DESCRIPTION
NYCODIEL 1244 is a biodegradable dielectric fluid based on a high performance synthetic ester.
APPLICATIONS
NYCODIEL 1244 has been developed to fulfil the demand of the electrical industry for a technical and biodegradable
alternative for mineral and silicone based dielectric products.
NYCO’s expertise in speciality ester synthesis and know-how in additive formulation allows to offer a dielectric fluid
matching IEC 61099 standard.
NYCODIEL 1244 is used in transformers when high fire point and/or biodegradability are requested.
NYCODIEL 1244 can be used as first-fill but is mainly used in traction transformers for maintenance (retro-fill
operation).
BENEFITS
• Meets IEC 61099:2010
• Optimized viscosity for better cooling
• Excellent oxidation stability according to IEC 61125 method C
• Low calorific value and high fire point, meets IEC 61039 K3
• Biodegradable according to OECD 301B
• Not hazardous to the environment
