NYCO GREASE GN 05 is a NLGI 2 grease based on a high viscosity mineral oil thickened by clay.
It has a good resistance to water wash out and excellent load carrying capacity.
Its typical operating temperature range is from -18°C to + 149°C.
APPLICATIONS
Heavy duty wheel bearing, wheels, starter magnetos, generators, military automotive components (truck electric retarder TELMA).
NYCO GREASE GN 05 is shall not be used at temperature below -15°C without a warm-up period at idle/low-speed to allow the grease to soften and properly circulate into the bearing parts.
Can be technically replaced by NYCO GREASE GN 22 (MIL-PRF-81322) or NYCO GREASE GN 3058 (SAE-AMS-3058).

NYCO GREASE GN 35 is a soft petrolatum wax and mineral oil, with a high melting point.
APPLICATIONS
NYCO GREASE GN 35 is intended to be used as a lubricant for small mechanisms and instruments on board of aircraft military equipment.
Upon melting, it does not leave any residue on the component.
NYCO GREASE GN 35 is also used as a mainstream anti-corrosion compound for the preservation of metallic surfaces on storage (small and large weapons, military equipment being stored outdoor, etc.).
It is normally applied by dipping the part to be protected in a bath of the molten compound, but may also be applied by brushing for large equipment.

NYCO GREASE GN 140 has been designed as long-life grease to provide long term lubrication in arduous operation environments (heavy loads and shocks).

NYCO GREASE GN 145 is a NLGI 2 grease, based on a blend of poly-alpha-olefin and mineral oil thickened with a lithium complex soap.
It is fortified with anti-corrosion, anti-oxidant and anti-wear additives.
APPLICATIONS
NYCO GREASE GN 145 is a high-performance grease designed to lubricate bearings, pins and sliding parts in military automotive equipment (trucks, tanks, artillery guns, etc.).
It is often referred as General Artillery Grease (GAA).
It exhibits strong anti-corrosion and anti-wear properties to protect the lubricated parts for extended period of time.
NYCO GREASE GN 145 resists very well to water wash-out – the primary cause of bearing failures of wheel bearings.
