Nyco Grease GN 148 Multipurpose Aviation Grease (Nyco Grease GN 148)

Nyco Grease GN 148 is a general purpose synthetic grease for all types of aircraft.

It is manufactured by NYCO, France, to SAE specification AMS 3052 (NATO Code G-354), and is fully approved for use to aircraft manufacturer specifications BMS 3-33 B (Boeing) and AIMS 09-06-002 (Airbus CML ref. 03GBC1, 03HBC1 and 03HBD9), and MIL-PRF-23827C by the U.S. Department of the Air Force.

Description
Nyco Grease GN 148 is an aviation multipurpose synthetic grease with a wide range of applications. NYCO has taken into account the properties of the various types of greases used in aircraft and developed a specification for a unified grease that would provide improved performance and that could be used in a maximum number of assemblies and units.

Nyco Grease GN 148 is a blend of synthetic hydrocarbons and diesters with a lithium complex as a thickener. It contains a number of anti-corrosion, anti-oxidation and anti-wear additives, as well as a special additive to reduce wear on parts subjected to ultra-high pressure.

Due to the wide range of operating temperatures, loads and other conditions required for routine maintenance of various aircraft components, Nyco Grease GN 148 can be used both as a MIL-PRF-23827C specification grease and as a universal grease to DCSEA 354/A, DEF STAN 91-53, BMS-3-24, MIL-PRF-24139A, DCSEA 382 and DEF STAN 91-12 specifications.
